Maths Lending Library

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Maths Lending Library at Preston Lodge High School. This has been kick started with generous funding from the Preston Lodge Learning Foundation. 

During lockdown some students experienced difficulties accessing our online textbooks, so we are moving towards replacing online books with old-fashioned physical textbooks.  All Higher and Advanced Higher students now have their own copy of their Maths textbook, on loan for the year, and we are turning our attention to Nat 5 students. 

We have a very large number of students at Nat 5 and so we have prioritised pupils on Free School Meals and those from SIMD 1 to 5. 

The Maths library is now open to any Nat 5 student who would like to borrow a Nat 5 textbook, subject to availability.

“It’s easy to catch up on what we’ve done if I’m off as there are lots of examples and questions to try”.

“These textbooks make revision and homework so much simpler”.
