Fixing for a Future

The Preston Lodge Learning Foundation, has secured a great opportunity for our students. 

Fixing for a Future are a community project, whose tutors teach repair skills and deliver sewing workshops for young people. They are hoping to involve as many students as possible in their ‘Against Fast Fashion!’ work, with students taking part in blocks of 6 x 2 hour sewing workshops, followed by a show of their creations, inviting parents and the local community. 

Our first block went really well, and our next block of classes starts on 4th March 2025, running from 3.30pm -5.30pm. Any Student who would like to take part should pick up an application form, from the school office.
