About Us

Preston Lodge Learning Foundation was established in 2015 as a Registered Scottish Charity.

The Foundation provides funding to support the advancement of education for the young people and wider community of Prestonpans, Cockenzie, Port Seton and Longniddry.

Our Aims and Values

We will work to enhance the life chances of the young people in Preston Lodge High School and its wider community, working with and for the school to support young people to reach their full potential.

We will provide opportunities to advance education through funding creative, practical projects to enhance pupils’ learning opportunities, health and wellbeing.

We will facilitate and focus on developing life skills to support young people with their employability and career options.

We will encourage and support teaching staff at Preston Lodge High School in their personal development and training.

We will facilitate and encourage former pupils, existing pupils, parents, carers and local organisations to promote and support the learning culture created within Preston Lodge High School.

We will engage, encourage and provide access to volunteering opportunities in all areas of our work.
